A 200-foot roofline — designed, installed, maintained, taken down, and stored — is $1,650 in Classic or $1,850 in Signature. That’s the whole bill, plus applicable tax.
A 50% deposit secures your install date on the calendar; the balance is due on installation day.
Three-story homes and steep or slate rooflines are quoted individually.

Your display should look perfect every night of the season, not just on install day. If anything dims, flickers, or fails, one call has it fixed within two days at no charge.

Magic City Christmas Lights is a Birmingham company, owned and operated right here in the metro — not a national franchise routing you through a call center three states away. Every bulb, clip, and cord we hang is company-owned, maintained, and stored by us — you never buy boxes of lights, and you never store them either. Your display is our inventory, kept in professional condition year-round.
We keep our route tight and our client list intentionally small, so every home gets the attention a display deserves. That’s also why fall slots genuinely do run out — priority scheduling goes to whoever reserves first.
Returning customers save 15% on an identical re-install. And when a neighbor you refer books with us, you receive a $100 credit.

Do you install lights I already own?
No — we install only our own commercial-grade materials, so we can stand behind every bulb with our 48-hour guarantee. Everything we hang is company-owned, maintained, and stored by us.
When should I book?
September and October. Booking happens early here, and pre-Thanksgiving install dates go to the earliest reservations.
How do I reserve a date?
A 50% deposit secures your install date on the calendar; the remaining 50% is due on the day of installation. Dates are held in deposit order.
What does it cost?
Classic is $8.25 per linear foot with installs starting at $699; Signature 9″ spacing is $9.25 per linear foot starting at $799 — both all-inclusive, plus applicable tax.
When do the lights come down?
January. Takedown is included, and we store everything until next season — nothing ends up in your attic.
